We are sure everyone is aware of the recent floods in Spain and the disaster it has caused for many people. Although there was damage in the valley of our large vegetable garden, we were very lucky.
When we heard about the recent events in one of our neighboring villages, our hearts cried. Many people were killed, lost their homes, cars, families or suffered severe damage.
Nature is strong and ruthless. In one day, a flood from the mountains swept over Létur, leaving it completely devastated.
Because one of our goals is to provide basic needs for all, and support locally where we can, we want to lend them a helping hand. We are connected to local people and know local projects set up to support these people in need.
When we realize that we as a people have the power to do good and make sure everyone has what they need, a tremendous movement begins. It is the power to take the wheel into our own hands and become independent of any system while reconnecting with those around us.
Together we create the world we want to see.
