End of July we started planting and sowing autumn and winter crops. Beginning of september, we will gather with a small local team to prepare the gardens for winter.
We also have our challenges. Baby wild boars were able to slip through the fence several times and transformed the garden into their playground. Multiple times, we had to spend hours to put back the straw, where they had been digging. Luckily they didn’t destroy most of the plants. On top of that, a lot of bugs love the roots of the fresh planted seedlings and we had to deal with tomato and potato dis-ease...
